The “triangular” shapes (shown above) on both sides of each of the Dungeons are called Secret Chambers (for more advanced players)!
With the Dungeons in place, the slowest piece on the playing board - the King - now has a place to hide! But when an opponent’s game piece ventures too close to a Dungeon the King may jump out and capture it!

The rules for playing Dungeon Chess and Advanced Charlatan Chess™ are identical in every way, except that Advanced Charlatan Chess™ is played with two (2) extra Kings! If players choose to play without the 2 extra Kings the rules are the same!
