8 More Squares!

Advanced Charlatan Chess_™ or simply Advanced Chess_™ is similar to Dungeon Chess (also called Chess of Dungeons), and both are played on the game board shown above!

Dungeon Chess gets its name from the ...

• Side Dungeons - the two (2) squares to the left and right sides of the BASIC 8x8 board (shown above!) AND

• Rear Dungeons - the four (4) squares above and below the BASIC 8x8 board!

The “triangular” shapes (shown above) on both sides of each of the Dungeons are called Secret Chambers (for more advanced players)!

With the Dungeons in place, the slowest piece on the playing board - the King - now has a place to hide! But when an opponent’s game piece ventures too close to a Dungeon the King may jump out and capture it!

Each boxed Advanced Charlatan Chess_™ set includes three (3) separate and complete instruction manuals for playing

• the BASIC chess game,
• Dungeon Chess and
• Advanced Charlatan Chess_™!

The rules for playing Dungeon Chess and Advanced Charlatan Chess_™ are identical in every way, except that Advanced Charlatan Chess_™ is played with two (2) extra Kings! If players choose to play without the 2 extra Kings the rules are the same!
